Thank you for reading Yoga Connection's first Newsletter!
My name is Sarah Pfeil, and I would like to introduce myself and give you some information about my background and my vision for Yoga Connection.
In this newsletter the focus is on Viparita Karani, otherwise know as legs-up-the-wall pose.
This simple, relaxing pose calms the nerves, eases muscle fatigue, and restores tired leg veins and muscles.
It is difficult to start a daily home practice and stay with it. This is a wonderful posture to begin with.
The yoga lifestyle can mean more than asanas. Your diet also influences your body, mind,
and spirit. This article by Annette describes a yoga diet.
There are so many mixed messages about what to eat and how to eat. It seems as a nation the more we diet the bigger we get.
